VPN error 721 to Small Biz Server

Ok, here's the problem, and it's got me stumped.
A network of several identical modal HP laptops, setup as shipped, with
software added, and joined to SBS2003 domain. Laptops running up to date XP
Pro SP2.
I have tried today to get 2 of them connecting to the network, via VPN. They
have been giving me the good old 721 error. I can successfully VPN into this
network, so I know it's not the router. I took another of the laptops away,
and it connects without issue, via VPN. I've tried another of the ones that
don't work here, side by side, and it' still doesn't work. It's something to
do with the laptops, but I have no idea what. Settings appear to be
identical, network drivers are the same version. Standard manual vpn
connection, works on one, not the other two. Same with the SBS Connect to
Server thingee. It just hangs on verifying password.
Any ideas out there?

Just a follow up to report I got this resolved. I ran a winsock repair
utility - WinsockXPFix, and that got things working. I'd be interested to
know if anyone has any ideas as to what the problem was though.
