VPN error 721

Here are the specs:

Client running XP Pro
Server running 2003 with RAS and VPN

I have successfully used the vpn client before in the past without any
problems and to my knowledge I have not changed any settings on the server
or the clients. Now I am receiving the error 721 "remote computer is not
responding" Any ideas where to look for the problems? How can I isolate it
to either the client or the server? Just the other day before hitting the
road again I was able to log into the VPN from inside our Intranet and
everything seemed fine. Now from the outside nada. Your thoughts guys? Thanx

Make sure nothing is blocking TCP port 1723 or IP Protocol 47 (GRE). If
these are allowed then see
