VPN and DSL Issue

Hi all,

Windows XP, SP2
SBC DSL Broadband connection

I'm having a problem with an employee who is trying to connect to our
PPTP VPN from home. We have two other users that do this with no
problems, both using the same OS and the Microsoft client. Both of
these users have always on cable connections for their ISP. The
troublesome user however, uses DSL and must open a connection manually
to connect to their DSL provider. Once they've connected, they are
able to connect into our VPN, but they cannot reach our Exchange
server to configure Outlook.

My assumption thus far is that Outlook is attempting to use the PPPoE
(DSL) connection to find our Exchange server, but since its not on a
publically available domain, the DNS server on the DSL network is
unable to find our server. I could be completely wrong on this
however.

Is there anyone who can help me figure this out?
