Volume control icon

The volume control icon has disappeared from the
notification task bar. The knowledge base has a "fix"
involving sndvol32.exe. However, when you follow the fix
directions at the cmd prompt, you get an error message
saying there is no destination for the command. Anybody
have this problem?

thnx
Rick
