vista tells me I am not connected

Dual boot WinXp/VistaU RC2 on the vista side only keeps telling me I am not
connected, "retry" confirms not connected, yet when I "ignore" the message,
I am connected. I have tried to re-establish connection, it then tells me I
am already connected. What the Heck is going on here??

Hi,

Drivers were still pretty buggy in RC2, sometimes you just had to ignore
them. You could try an updated driver file from the manufacturer, but
ultimately it may have been a Vista issue. I've not seen that sort of error
in the release version.
