Vista SP1

Hi Guys,
need some help please, have just installed Vista SP1 on my laptop and cannot
now access the internet, or check my mail. Vista tells me there is no
problem with my net connection and I am connected, but IE and window mail
does not now work, is this another windows excellent piece of work.

Any help appreciated
