Vista shut down

Dual boot WinXp/VistaU RC2 on the vista side only, after I do a normal "Turn
Off", vista seems to end normally however I must manually turn off the
computer. On the Xp side, "Turn Off" Windows closes and shuts down the
computer. Is that a setting, or is it a MB/Bios issue??

Are you absolutely sure you are selecting Shutdown?
The button offered from the menu is Sleep. You must scroll the arrow (to
the right of sleep) and select shutdown.

I think that varies. On my computer the button shuts it down. I don't
remember changing its behavior, so I think it was default on my machine.
Just to be clear: This is the button to the left of the padlock. Its red,
but only barely. But if you put your mouse cursor over it, it brigthens.
Pictured on it is what looks like a computer power button. A circle with a
vertical line inside the circle.

You have 3 choices to start with. "Save session", "lock", and a small
"right-facing arrow". Run your cursor over the arrow, and you have a sub menu
with 5 choices, including, "shut down", "sleep", "restart", etc.
