I dont think anyone can say exactly...

but it is tied with the release of the Windows Server 2008, since they will
be updating some stuff
with SP1 of vista to keep it up to pace with Server 2008

Mr. Harper says when it's ready? I agree--nothing will happen until Windows
Server 2008 is out. Why put out a SP when many at MS feel that their ongoing
regular updates will just be packaged in a SP at some later date. I've also
read that MS might not release a SP for Vista. I should have know better and
waited another year or two. I learned my lesson with Vista and went back to
XP/Pro. Life is great again. If I didn't have so much invested in this piece
of crap, I'd take a more serious look at Mac. If MS does decide to treat
Vista like ME, and come out with a different/new OS in the next 2 yrs, I'm
going to look into other OS alternatives. :-(

They will ship SP1 when the muckey-mucks think it will be ready. Of course
it will be a disaster, but hey, that's MicroSquish.

I actually got good responses from the dev team on my previous experiences.
I was totally peeved with things when they happened.
Offer some ideas and respond the way you would like to be talked with.
I think development is actually going to take the reigns after marketing made the mistakes.
Lets see what they can do in the next few months...I know development is seeing the "months" tag and wishing for a hot cattle prod lol.
I'm still more confident in them than their Linux counterparts. I was disappointed in the last 10 years progress with Suse.

They will ship SP1 when the muckey-mucks think it will be ready. Of course
it will be a disaster, but hey, that's MicroSquish.
