I Used the new windows Vista Build 5744 (rc2), but I have a probleme with the
installation.
I did a clean installation.
The first step of the installation does normal (Copying files)
The second step (expanding files) goes to 26% and then crash
with a message:
Windows cannot install required files. The file does not exist. Make sure
all files required for installation are available, and restart the
installation. Error code: 0x80070003.

I have same problem with beta2 rc1 5728 Build.

Then I reset my computer and go to the bios and my Hard Drive is gone.
Then I shutdown my pc en hard drive is back. I install Windows XP
Professional SP2 again and runs normal wit no errors during setup.
My iso file is not corrupt, I did a md5 check
Is there a solution for this problem?

These are my computer spefications:
AMD Athlon XP 2000+ (1,67 GHZ)
512 MB RAM DDR400
Maxtor Diamondmax10 200GB IDE Hard Drive
MSI Geforce 6800LE graphics card 128MB WDDM-Support
Mainboard ASUS a7v880
Soundblaster Audigy SE

Hello same problem here but without specific error code. I have had same
