Vista freezes

Computer starts ,get to sign in window, sign in password then it gets the
waite signal with the circle thing and wont go any further

Did you do an upgrade or a new install? Try starting in Safe mode to see if
you can get further. Hit F8 just before Windows starts. Could be a driver
issue. make sure your system drivers (motherboard, video) are up to date.

It is a new computer which is 5 months old.
I have signed in safe mode no problems. Everything is upto date.
I have feeling that when the kids log out or shut down they dont let the
computer fully go thru before shutting laptop Thanks
