Vista Beta 2 for public

Is Vista Beta 2 available for me to download... I need to preview.

Unfortuantely I dont have MSDN or Technet subscriptions...

time in October or November. Volume License customers should receive it in

I think its for folks who signed up a few months ago on Microsofts Technet
Site, but the beta should be available for the general public to test, so,
its not like you will be outcast.

I don't know, just have to wait and see.

Oh so that means I can buy an OEM copy of VISTA before I can buy a retail
copy, but all this is hopefully moot as I have the Operating Systems version
of MSDN.

Not necessarily, OEMs will receive the software along with Volume License
customers, but you won't be able to acquire it with new hardware until
January. Please note, the consumer delay is at the request of the OEMs, not
entirely Microsoft's decision.
