Vista and virus software

Does anyone know what virus programs work with Vista Ultimate? I have
comcast as an internet provider and they offer McAfee free but it does not
work with Vista Ultimate.

Nortons anti-virus proggy is OK as long as you dont use anything else

Actually the newest version of the Pro Mcafee DOES work and quite well
with vista Ultimate. I bought the full set which includes it's own
firewall and a whole lot more. No matter what you decide though, just
stay away from Norton products! ( Just MY opinion! )

Trend Micro's PC-Cillin works great. One thing, if you are networking you
will need to turn off it's firewall and use Windows Firewall. But as virus,
malware, spam etc. it works great.

As far as I know Avast (www.avast.com) anti virus works okay with
Vista. I wouldn't touch Norton or Mcafee I've never found them much
good.

Avast also has a free version which is more than adequate.

I'm running Avast. AVG is great too, but Avast is less annoying

Well firstly, you need to add a DOCTYPE declaration, and specify the
character encoding you're using (iso-8859-1 from what I can see - which
is non-standard so you'll REALLY need to specify it)

While I'm not a standards-nazi (standards come and go, and I've seen W3C
sites not work correctly in some browsers) you'll probably find that if
you fix the errors listed here:

Your site will probably then work correctly.

NOD32 is an antivirus with no firewall built-in. It can also detect some
spyware.

Norton 360 is made for Vista and has everything - firewall, spy-ware,

Hate to bother you but I see where you like Norton 360. Can you help me? I
installed 360 without problem on desktop with XP but I cannot get 360 to
install completely (beyond PC tune-up) on new laptop with Vista. I worked
with 2 of Symantec's "experts" who have not been able to get me beyond what I
was able to accomplish. Did you encounter a similar problem?

My new laptop came with the McAfee's basic Vista program and it seems to
work well. Since Zone Alarm has not released their Vista program at this
time I believe the McAfee program should protect your computer.
