Virus (maybe)

Not a virus, it is a hoax. Search google for hoaxes and
go to Symantecs website for an explanation.

Yeah, they are pulling your leg. They want you to get rid
of a Windows file you may or may not need. Not a virus,
although you should KNOW you are virus-free. It costs
about $3 per month to KNOW you are protected. While you
are at it, enable your firewall. Please.

It is *not* a virus, but a legitimate part of Windows. This is an
old and well-known hoax (as you can verify, for example, by doing
a search at http://www.symantec.com/search/). Do *not* delete the
file.
