Hi Zonk,

** Don't Fall for the Jdbgmgr Hoax **

Symantec Security Response encourages you to ignore any messages regarding
this JDBGMGR.EXE hoax. It is harmless and is intended only to cause
unwarranted concern.

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/jdbgmgr.exe.file.hoax.html

CAUTION: A virus can infect Jdbgmgr.exe. Some versions of this hoax take
advantage of an actual threat, the W32.bugbear@mm worm. The Jdbgmgr.exe file
mentioned in the hoax has a bear icon. The actual W32.bugbear@mm worm file
is a .exe file and does not have a bear icon.

Regards,
Ramesh

It is for debugging Java applets - so if you are not developing Java you
don't need it anyway.

But watch out - there is a real virus that takes advantage of the hoax
being well known, and masquerades as this file. The proper one has an
icon of a teddy bear - the virus imitator has a screwdriver - if you see
that, then delete it
