Hi all,
I run Windoze98SE with Outlook Express.
Last night I came to logon as usual and download my mail. Instead of the
usual 5 messages on each of 4 accounts, I had over 160 in each of the first
two accounts! When Outlook attempted to process my standard rules, all I got
was "Illegal Function" error and Outlook shut down.
Rules: "If file size exceeds 26K or if file contains attachment then delete
from server without downloading".
In to clear my POP3 mail boxes I had to use an old DOS program to delete
everything from the server. Then a simple check of the accounts went through
without error.
Q - Does this latest Doom virus cause this sort of thing?
