virtual memory

I have 768MB of RAM memory and about 25GB of free space on my hard dis
but each time i boot up, my Pc shows up that i do not have enoug
virtual memory.

Pls how can I remove this inconvenience as changing the virtual memor
options do not seem to help.

Please help urgent
