When I transfer a DV tape to my hard drive and then play
back the clip I do not have any sound on it.Can someone
tell me what settings are wrong please
 
If you have used an S-Video cable to transfer the video
into your PC, it is not capable of sending sound. It
only sends the video portion.

I have had no problems transferring my video (and sound)
by using a firewire cable.
