Audio on recording movie back to DV

I have a 40 minute project with camcorder audio, added music clips, and
titles. When I "Finish the Movie, Send to DV" as the movie is sent back to my
camcorder, all the audio tracks sound great. After completion when I rewind
the tape and play back the DV the first 10 minutes of the audio is garbled
and noisy. I had 85gb available on my drive during the process. I have also
tried 'finishing to my computer' and using the downloaded WinDV, but that
software seems to download the movie but doesn't write it to the DV tape. Any
ideas on my audio problem?

WinDV copies from the hard drive to the camcorder tape also... it's the
other tab

The speed and condition of your hard drive is critical... defrag and
minimize the use of other apps during the copying.
