problem finishing movie to DV

My father's computer is giving me trouble. I can use WMM without any
problems until I go to Finish the movie.

I am sending it back to my DV and everything looks normal except that no
video or audio are recorded on the camcorder. It says "Finish" as if all
went well, but there's nothing on my tape.

Any help would be great!

Try saving it to the computer first and playing that back to see if it
works.
This will tell us if it is a problem with the project or a problem with the
hardware.

I will give it a try. I wonder if it's the hardware because we've had the
problem with other projects...More later.

Hi Wojo,
I saved the project back to the computer and it plays fine from the Real
Player.

Any suggestions?

Well since it saves to your computer it most likely isn't a problem with
Movie Maker.
Try using another firewire cable it could be as simple as that.
