Video Driver Problem

I have a Dell Inspiron 8200, and it will crash after
loading the black WinXP "loading screen", and right
before the blue user login screen appears. I have read
that the Nvidia video drivers are causing some of these
laptops to crash at this time. This computer came with
the GForce 2Go video card, and I have tried many
different drivers, from old ones to the newest, however
after I turn it off for the night, and come back in the
morning to restart, it will crash. I have reformatted the
hard drive, re installed XP, and run diag. that tell me
all my hardware is okay. What Nvidia Driver is good to
use? When I unistall the video driver, the computer will
load up fine. I can also fire it up everytime successful
in safe mode. That is why I believe that my video driver
is the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have the same Dell Inspiron 8200 notebook computer and
had the same symptoms. The problem is with the Dell GeForce
video adapter itself. Contact Dell support and request a free
replacement. Dell shipped many of these notebooks without
a proper video adapter thermal pad installed.
