Laptop Crashes

My laptop is crashing right after the winxp
loading screen and right before the big blue login
screen. I have read that the nvidia video drivers have
caused this to happen to a lot of people. Does anyone
know what driver I should use to stop this from
happening. I can use safe mode just fine, and when I
uninstall the video driver I can then load up in regular
mode. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

To gain maximum performance, ATI and nVidia have written
their drivers increasingly more renegade in their
competition. Make certain you have the latest DirectX (9b)
on before ever updating your video drivers. Even putting
it on afterwards might fix you up.
If not, try going into Device Manager and manually
updating the driver and choose one from the WindowsXP CD.
