Verification?

k, I am hoping I am asking in the right section, but I downloaded the media
player 11, and I have the windows cd, etc, went to try to use it it asked me
to verify it, i went to the website, verified it. It still asks me to verify
it, I downloaded it again, with verification, it still asks me to verify it.
I try doing a remove (downgrade) to #10, it won't let me. I am soooooo lost
and it's been a long time since i could play my music, can someone help me?

Click on "validate windows",you should also open internet options,settings,
view objects,locate windows & microsoft authentication active x,R.click each
(one at a time),select,"update".
