Using both Windows Mail and Outlook 2003

My wife and i use both Outlook 2003 and Windows Mail. My account goes through
outlook and hers uses Windows mail. This is normaly not a problem however
when i am away on business and she hits send/receive in Windows mail it also
activates send/receive in Outlook, therefore downloading my messages and i am
unable to access them using webmail.

Is there any way to set these up so that they are not linked and
send/receive seperately?

That should not be happening unless your account is also installed on your wife's
Windows Mail. You can have the same mail account on multiple computers, but
you must configure them to leave copies of emails on the server.
In Windows Mail: Tools, Accounts, select the account, Properties, Advanced,
select the option "Leave a copy of messages on the server." You may also
want to select one of the two 'remove' options.
