username and picture not showing up when window xp start

subject: username and picture not showing up when window xp start

everytime Window XP start it show the welcome screen then it automatically
load
window xp and it doesn't show the username and picture when window xp start
.. how do i fix this problem? are there any fix/patch/setting i have to make?

i already tried to go at user accounts, change the way users log off and
log on and check Use Welcome Screen, Use Fast User Switching

i also enable the guest account to see if the username and picture would
show up but it didn't.

how do i fix this problem so that everytime i start window xp it shows the
user name and picture.

Hi Allan,

If there is only one User account (not counting the Guest Account and
built-in Administrator Account) then Windows will automatically log into the
single User account without displaying the Welcome screen. You would have to
create a new user account in order for the usernames and icons to appear on
the Welcome screen.
