Yesterday after when i remove the everyone rights from the C drive (in
the security), when i restart again, it gave me an error "The page
file is too small or not created, windows will temporary create one".
But when i add the everyone rights back, it was ok. Anyone got any
idea why this happens ? Pls advise.

Regards,
Daniel

Because "everyone" includes the "system" and it needs to control the
Pagefile.

Bob, is this a new concept in Windows 2000 ? I think in NT 4
shouldn't be a problem. So how to disable everyone right ?

Regards,
Daniel

It changes again in XP in that each group is called out seperatly. You
would need to add System specifically and give it full control. Or
alternatively DENY "users" for whatever functions worry you.
