Rights on Not rights?

When giving File rights on a Shared Folder, the permissions button,
Q1. Why might I want to leave the Everyone group listed with only read
rights?

Q2. Is it OK to ONLY have the user or group that actually needs rights
to the folder, and the Administrator. Then on the SECURITY Tab do the same?

The goal is to only let users "SEE" what they have rights too. Not to
let the try to figure out how to get into someone elses folder.

Thanks

The only way to hide a share is to end its name in a $.

Then, only people who know about it can map it, or you can do it in a logon script.
When setting NTFS permissions, make sure that both Administrator and System have Full Control.
