Using windows2000 pro in a NT4 domain
Previously all my PC is running win98 and all i need is
to do one time software installation plus printers, odbc
settings and in house programes. Some users using the
same pc has no problem with it. But now, with
windows2000, i need to configure a few time in one PC;
for the same printers, odbc and etc. And there is no
gaurantee the pc will have the same performance. Can i do
a one time setting in regardless who is the user who use
the PC will have the same setting. Which mean all users
who log in the same pc will have the same profiles
settings including printers, odbc setting and etc. Anyone
is kind enough to help or advise me, many thanks.

Yes do like this and all profiles will the same:

Make the installation and all the settings like you want as the network
administrator (desktop, printers shortcuts etc...), logon as the LOCAL
administrator and right click on my computer (make sure you have set the
options for "show hidden files and folders" before next step), then take
properties/advanced/userprofiles - settings copy the NETWORK administrator
profile to "default user" premission to use the profile can be set to
everyone or domain users
