Hi Mike,

If you mean that you have a USB controller such as the
X-Box one's and you want to install it, then here's how:

I'm assuming that you plugged it in and it wasn't recognised
in the game controllers section of Control Panel.

If it didn't come with software, Plug it in, click Start / Control Panel /
Switch to Classic view if you haven't already / click Game Controllers
Click Add... / Select the Closest type from the list / OK / OK.
