Hi, I have a USB port in my computer, and while trying to add a new printer I
have discovered I cannot view this port in my Device Manager. I am the
administrator, and should have full access. Any suggestions would be awesome!

You may need to upgrade the system bios.

Thanks soooo much! I was reading about this in the help menu, however, I am
ignorant as to where or even how I would do this. May I ask, is it possible
for me to do this?

Again, many thanks.

Check the pc or mobo manufacturer's web site. You can identify your bios
manufacturer and version by watching your screen at POST (power on self
test)
