USB Mass Storage Devices

I have a PII-350 running Windows XP Professional. I put a
USB Mass Storage device (Fuji 256M) into one of my two
USB ports and the device does not show up when I initiate
my computer. In order to move files from the device to my
computer I have to go to command prompt and use DOS
commands to move the files to my computer. When I run
device manager, the device is shown as OK. When I plug it
in, an icon shows up in my task bar indicated the device
is in, but no where does it show up in my directory
structure. At work, the device shows up as F:\ drive.

What's my problem?

Go into Device Manager and assign the USB mass storage device a drive
letter. Use any letter that's not currently being used by the
system.
