I was using a external hard drive via my USB and it was working fine and then
it just stopped. Now I get a message in "USB Mass Storage Device" that the
device cannot start. The driver is USBSTOR.SYS. What can I do? I've tried
uninstalling and re-installing, updating and rolling back. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the input but I've done all those things. That's why I'm here.

I've the same problem since about 3 weeks now. I also tried a lot but nothing
seems to help. Did you already find a solution? My external USB harddisk is a
Freecom classic 200 Gb.

"No I haven't found any solution yet. I thought this board would help but
it's useless. Good luck to you.
