USB linking cable trouble

I have Vista.. I just purchased a USB 2.0 linking cable so that I could
connect my laptop to my reciever for my surround sound speakers. It tells me
that I need a driver for it to work but I'm having trouble finding one to
work. I NEED HELP! I just want to play my music from my computer to my
speakers.
