usb drivers not found

i have an asus motherboard which came with an extra usb
| port. i have attached it but my OS should be able to
| provide the driver, according to asus, but it doesnt. i
| have searched through my xp disc but to no avail, can
| anyone suggest anything?

If the extra USB port is USB 2, then you will need to install XP Service
Pack 1.
