auto setup cant find usb driver

i have an asus motherboard which came with an extra usb
port. i have attached it but my OS should be able to
provide the driver, according to asus, but it doesnt. i
have searched through my xp disc but to no avail, can
anyone suggest anything?

Check the MB manual for a jumper setting or in the bios or both

just guessing but maybe ?
