I had a crash on my Windows 98 system recently. I carried out a re-boot with my back-up disk and everything came back to normal or so it seemed. The problem is that my pc is not recognising any of my usb devices anymore. (Thta's printer, scanner, digital camera ). Can anybody help ?
Thanks.

Try Right click on My Computer >Properties > Hardware> Device Manager> Any question marks coming up?
You may need to re-load the drivers for each device as Windows 98 may have problems picking them up otherwise.

There's no question marks but there doesn't seem to be any reference to usb either.

Thanks for the help. I've found that the usb controller was disabled in the BIOS set up. All OK now.
