usb device jumping up my cpu usage to 100%

each time that i plug my controllers(gamepad)or steering weel my usb
just make my cpu usage jump to 100% and then if i unplug it the cpu
usage stays at 100% till i reboot the whole thing???????

any idea!??!?!!?!?!?!!?!???!??!?!?!?!?!?

Without knowing any details about your hardware, I would suggest you go
to the controller mftrs.' websites and download/install updated drivers
for the devices.

well all device react that way so would really doubt that all the
driver for all devices updated at the same time!!!!!!!!!

the only thing that changed is that i bought a usb hub and since i
instal it the problem started...but once again i did try without the
hub and still the problem persist!!!!
is that possible that the hub changed some seting without telling
me??????????????????
i m on xp sp2 ....
