usb 2.0

I have a GA-8IRXP motherboard with 2 usb 1.1 and four usb
2.0 devices conected. the first time I installed windows
xp everything worked, but when I had to reinstall windows
xp nothing worked, and what shows up is an exclamation
point on the NEC Universal serial bus Host controller.
now when I try to reinstall it there is no check mark
next to the gigabyte driver signatures. I have already
tried to ignore this, but it still will not install.
 
When you reinstalled Windows did you also reinstall the chipset drivers for
the motherboard?
 
All of my USB devices are not working after I installed
SP2. I also have a Gigabyte motherboard. Did you find a
solution.
 
Go into the Device Manager, expand the line for the Universal Serial Bus
Controllers and then click on the Driver tab. Click on Update Drivers for
each USB Root Hub.
