Uploading fonts

I've downloaded new fonts and I don't know how to get them uploaded in
Microsoft Word. I can't find anything to do with fonts in the control panel.
The fonts I have are in compressed zip folders and I didn't get them from a
program / cdrom.

First of all, note that you don't *upload* fonts, you *install*
them, and you install them to the system, not to Microsoft Word
or any particular appplication.

Once the fonts are installed, they are available to *all*
applications that let you choose fonts, not just Microsoft Word.

I can't find anything to do with fonts in the control
panel.

The Control Panel applet you want is called "Fonts." The choice
to install fonts is on its File menu.

The fonts I have are in compressed zip folders and I didn't

It doesn't matter where you got them from.
