I have a fairly old (4 years) machine that has been working
just fine as a dual boot between ME and Linux. I decided to
take the plunge and upgrade to XP.
When I insert the upgrade disk at boottime it does some
things, (copying files, mostly) and then, right after it
says "Starting Windows" (or something to that effect) it
halts and gives me a blue screen with the following error code:
stop: 0x0000006b (0xC000003A 0x00000002 0x00000000 0x00000000)
at no point does the program let me do anything, except for
the F6 and F2 that I can press very early on in the process.
any ideas?
