Upgrading from Pentium 4 M to Pentium M (Notebook)

Hi all:

I have got a P4 M notebook (Evo 610C) 1.8G and thinking of upgrading
to a Pentium M 2.0G to get some performance boost... Any possibility?

All information from CPU-z is listed here....:

THanks in advance.

Even if you could do it, the difference would likely be too small to
notice in everyday use, and you could well screw up the machine
trying.

As Chris said, it's hardly worth it. How much RAM does it have?
Adding more memory will give you a much greater boost in
performance than that CPU upgrade. I just added 512MB to
a Toshiba Equium (it came with 256MB) and it has turned
a sluggish laptop into something that's a pleasure to use. :)
