Upgrading from 98 to XP Pro-GoBack will not uninstall

I am trying to upgrade to XP Pro from 98 and I keep
getting a warning when it checks my computer that I need
to uninstall GoBack which I have done and cannot get past
that warning. I have done everything that Symantec has
said to do and removed all the Norton programs as well!
Any suggestions would be GREAT!

Have you tried uninstalling it from the bootup screen when it first starts?
If you tried uninstalling it from Add/Remove Programs instead, that could be
the source of your problems.
