Upgrades Won't Download

I

IS

When I go to Win Upgrade in Start>All Programs.
Click Scan computer win Microsoft web site, then I accept terms and
conditions.
After this nothing happens.
I get the Download window but it never starts moving.
I've tried several times, and left the computer alone for a long time.

I've done this many times before but it just recently started happening.

Could somebody please help?

Thanks.

Hello!
Have you configured like the following:-

From the main toolbar in Internet Explorer, click Tools,
and then click Internet Options.
Click Security.
Click Trusted Sites Zone.
Click Sites.
Click "Require server verification (https:) for all sites
in this zone" to clear the selection.
In the "Add this Web site to the zone:" field, type
http://*.microsoft.com and then click Add.
Click OK.
Click Custom Level and select Enable for the following items:
Download signed ActiveX controls.
Download unsigned ActiveX controls.
Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe.
Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting.
Click OK, and then click OK again to exit Internet
Properties.[thanks to Kelly]

You configure it like above and retry.

With best wishes,

Yes I've tried this. But it still won't download no matter what.
And it's only this download. I was downloading media before and it worked
just fine.

Thanks.
