Upgrade to XP Pro

Has anyone experience this situation? I recently
upgraded Windows XP Home to Windows XP Pro, immediately
after upgrading I noticed that majority of my programs
icons are missing from the Start, ALL Programs menu. Is
there a easy fix for this discrepancy? How can I restore
my program icons without reinstall each of my
applications?

Are the programs still installed and it is just the shortcuts on teh start menu that are gone?
