How to restore missiong program icons

Has anyone experience this situation? I recently
upgraded Windows XP Home to Windows XP Pro, immediately
after upgrading I noticed that majority of my programs
icons are missing from the Start, ALL Programs menu. Is
there a easy fix for this discrepancy? How can I restore
my program icons without reinstall each of my
applications?

Is the Personalized Menus feature is enabled?

Right-click an empty area on the the taskbar, and then click Properties.
Click to clear the Use personalized menus check box, and then click OK.

[Specifies whether to turn on Personalized Menus.
Personalized Menus keeps the Programs menu clean by hiding items you haven't
used recently, while still keeping other programs easily accessible. You
can gain access to hidden programs by clicking the down arrow at the bottom
of the Programs menu.]
