How to restore missing program icons?

Has anyone experience this situation? I recently
upgraded Windows XP Home to Windows XP Pro, immediately
after upgrading I noticed that majority of my programs
icons are missing from the Start, ALL Programs menu. Is
there a easy fix for this discrepancy? How can I restore
my program icons without reinstall each of my
applications?

check under C:\Documents and Settings
most likely one of the other users listed has the org start menu.

you may need to set explorer to show all files.
