Upgrade from NT4 domain

Hello,

I'm upgrading my server from NT4.0 to 2000 server. My NT user profiles
are stored
locally with a roaming copy on the server. When I migrate the accounts none
of the
documents, favorites, etc. are imported onto the W2k server. Also, when
creating a
new user on the W2k server no information is stored in the roaming profile
on the
server. What am I doing wrong ?

Then it would be more accurate to say they are stored on
the server as Roaming profiles (the cached copy is a feature
of using roaming profiles).

What do you mean by "migrate"? Are you using ADMT or some such
migration method?

These don't migrate profiles.

The easy way to get this stuff right is to just UPGRADE the NT
domain -- unless you already have a (populated) Active Directory
domain this is practically always easier and less error prone.
