In a previous posting it was explained how to carry out a download only of
updates to a single PC for eventual installation on several ( i.e. using the
*catalog*).
I've done that and it seems to have worked fine but what now?
How do I tell XP to do an update from these files?

TIA
Phil

Hi,

Just double-click the file to install the update.

Many thanks.
Now my next question - is it possible to do an automated scan, select and
install from this downloaded source?
Thanks again

Setup a SUS server.

Copy (burn) the File to a CD-R and pick the updates from it you want to
install. You will have to ascertain what you need beforehand.
