Updates

Every time I scan for updates, it says. There are no updates for your
computer at this time, please check back later.
Then I go to the update catalog, and there are several updates for my
pc, whats happening, and how do I correct this.
I scanned my pc for viruses, nothing showed up. Running W-XP. TIA for
any help.

Perhaps the ones in the catalogue you see are the recommended ones and not
critical to your set up.

Can you give ann example of an update in the catalog that is not presented
when you scan for updates?
