Unusual problem Sending Fax

Hi to you all

I am using a Fujitsu Tablet PC Stylistic LP 600 running
win 2K.
I am having a problem with the Win 2K Fax service. I have
2 devices listed in the Management console. 1 is the
internal Fujitsu modem and 2 is via a Nokia DKU5 cable and
a Nokia 6100 Mobile phone. When connected via the internal
modem to a static landline all works fine when sending a
fax using the fax printer (the fax service dials out sneds
and completes without a problem). However when trying to
send using the Cable and phone the fax isnt forwarded (the
fax service doesn't dial out and lists the fax in the fax
queue as *resending*. Both devices show as *Available* in
the management console. When using the Cable and phone
setup I can connect without any problem to my ISP which
would suggest all is well on that side. Any help would be
greatly appreciated as this will save a lot of time during
my working day by me not needing to print then find a fax
machine.

Can you check if your cable + mobile modem supports faxing. Even though
many devices like DSL / ISDN adapters are shown as Modem, they dont support
fax.
