Unread message "count" in public folders

Is it possible to have an unread message count [blue number in parenthesis
next to the folder in question] in public folders and subfolders as you have
in your Mailbox and subfolders?

When I click on the properties for one of the folders, the option to "Show
number of unread items" is greyed out - unavailable. Can this be changed?

I do not understand what you are instructing me to do. Add what to my Public
Folder Favorites? I right clicked on the main folder, from which I have
multiple subfolders, clicked Add to Favorites, and the option to "Show number
of unread items" is still greyed out.

Once you've added them you can look at them in the Public Folders Favorites
folder where they will show an unread count. It will not show it in the All
Public Folders list.

Thank you very much, Roady. Sorry for being so dense, but I do appreciate
your patience.
